And we’d be like, He’s just so out there. Extroverted. That the difference It was interesting to me. But my daughter is a wisdom. Get. Straight A’s on like architecture and math and very. She’s very smart. As a person and she follows rules and she’s. She’s very, she dots her I’s and crosses your T’s.

That is, in, on the opposite side, my son will probably be really. Good at sales. See, loves jet scene. Engine. Engines and, And whatnot. So, if you Reverted and you tend to enjoy being around people. Then you were

A people person or. A sale person or you’re, you’re great. On sales. On the other side, you. Introverted and prefer to work with your headphones on. And you could be better at development or technical information or project management, which requires emails.

So., I want you to realize that you are your Annoyance or something that you are. Worried about could be your biggest strength. As well, if you’re loud, you could be a great talker. Running events. You could be doing this. If you are quiet, you could be. A great architect or somebody who’s a thinker.

Or somebody, you know So. Just, I want you to realize what six. Six figures. Plus, a year that’s over a hundred thousand dollars a year would do for you. And you’re fingerling. It’s like, what would that mean? For you. You know, even what if. Multiple people My wife is a six-figure on her I’m six-figure earners together. We

Accredited investors and, Just the amount of breathing room. Those leaves. You know, not having the live. For a paycheck to paycheck, having money in. In the bank, and you get to walk away with certainty about the next steps, but what you want to do. Next. So just think of what that would do.

To get started. Success. Number two will be certainty. The next step is to find certainty, certainty about what you want to do and to know. That you can land six-figure offers doing that. You can do this right. And the success number three. This is what you’re going to get is consistency. The last success you will have is the ability.

To do this any time in the future. So, if you run into an issue. You’re in a toxic work environment. You don’t like what you’re doing and maybe you have. Uncertainty about what you really want to do still, and you want to try something. A little different. You can tip your toes into that and also get.

At a six-figure offer. And see if you like or you could have multiple contracts. It’s there are two types. There’s a. 10 99. Which is a contractor. And then there’s W2, which is an employee. Both. Can get six-figure offers so you can have. Multiple. 10 90 nines. For example, if you are a consultant, I

You can have one or two. Clients or multiple clients. But you consult with it is not necessarily time-based. It is. Some might be time-based, some might be, project. so, what you are delivering. I know if you worked for the government, like, I tend to. They run. Request for proposals based on.

Not only time, but. But on exact products that you’re going to give them. Right.

You know, if you were just paid for time, you wouldn’t have anything. Anything you’re paid for.

Get into how you do this. So, LinkedIn. Is a secret. Weapon. LinkedIn is the most important resource you will need because it means you can grow the connections. Into fortune Companies almost. I’d say 90%. I don’t It’s 90%, but a large percentage of employees in fortune 500 companies. And recruiters and people who can push you into the right positions are on.

And I will show you how to use that. And the connections that you will build anytime in the future and any time you need Okay. So why LinkedIn? You can easily grow connections companies. Misconception number one, I don’t want a full-time job consulting. Can be part-time and it can be 100% remote. Misconception. And there are tons of companies who are hiring for part-time. And remote. I don’t want to commute. I want to work 100% remote. That’s great. We will only. Apply to 100% remote contracts.

I don’t have a degree. You don’t need one. You know, various clients have gotten degrees at. Various sorts. Or not, and things changed. Changed so rapidly in technology these days. That you can get trained Get a certification. No problem or are you. I don’t even companies Higher without a certification and wants you to get.

One as part of working with their software and there are so many software companies. That they really don’t expect you to know everything First, you must learn it. When you come on so you don’t need a degree. You don’t need any other certification. If you can type, if you can use computer, You are good.

Okay. Let’s get into other misconceptions.

I already have a job, for That’s great. I don’t want you to quit your job Until you have an offered. But you can always. Add an additional contract as a 10 99 consultant. Not You could, you know, go for government contracts. Like I do. Which is based on sub you can sub out the work so you can give it to somebody else while you.

Relax and do the contract and just, you know, apply. Or you can do W2, which is an employee. Misconception number three, you could be a consultant or an employee.

It’s either one, some people prefer And have benefits. Like vision. And dental. And whatnot. And I’ve seen consultants also get those benefits. So it’s up to you, what you want to do, and the trick is to remain flexible. I was on. An airplane the other day, flying over Houston. There was a huge storm.

I happen to be sitting by the window seat and I looked out and there was lightning. Going all over the place and the plane was bouncing all over the place. And I realized that the wing. Like. 10 feet. And then it bent down to V and I was like, Wow. That’s like a 20 foot wingspan, you know? Events like tremendously. And then I kind of realized what would happen

If it didn’t bend, it would probably snap, and we would go careening. Out of the ground. So you have to be flexible. You must be. Willing to do either. Or remember it’s about them. It’s not. Really about you. You’re going to help them. And that is. What we want to focus on. Okay. Misconception number four

Six plus figures is easy for these companies. A lot of people think, oh, that’s a ton. It’s not I know secretaries. Secretaries who are getting paid over six figures. These companies make millions and billions of dollars apple for. Examples and trillions of dollars. And I currently manage about.

500 million in contracts under me. So, there’s plenty. To go around. Trust me. They require more staff. And they need more help. Okay. So, there are only three. Things that you need to have to do this. Like, this is what is required.

You need an email, like access to a computer, a laptop. Desktop or a phone. If you have any one of those. The second thing is. Zoom calls. You need to be able to do interviews. Views on zoom. You need to be able to do video. And you need to be able to take meetings for example. Like, if somebody is going to interview you, they’re going to want to see your video.

It’s going to have to be in a good. Place like this. I just have a white wall behind me. And It’s easy. Right? And number You need to be willing to show up to work hard. I have seen. Some students. Just accept the job and then they, maybe even they get two and they can’t do both of them. And so one of them they’re

I must give up because they’re not showing up and doing the work you need to be dependable. Right. You need to be able to show up every day. So if you’re willing to work. Hard then this is for you.

Going to need to fill up your calendar. With interviews. You’re going to have to talk … Okay.
