Google AdWords is the most popular pay-per-click advertising program on the Internet. It’s fairly simple to use but can accommodate anything from a one-ad-one-product setup to a complex arrangement of multiple products with multiple ads targeting different geographic regions – different times of the day – different times of the week – different languages – and various other factors.
Google owns about 70% of all online searches – Bing and Yahoo own the other 29%.

Ahhhh Google Adwords & Bing Adwords – I need Professional Help!

If you need “Professional Help” – Most of our staff are Google and Bing Certified. We can help you target the exact demographics and keywords to hit the desired result and your desired ROI! It not as simple as it looks – removing poor traffic driving keywords & enhancing the right keywords is a meticulous process.
Google AdWords is the first engine to charge advertisers based on a formula dependent on both a quality score & a maximum bid price. They introduced a formula where the highest bidder is not necessarily given the first position. The first position is now calculated based on a formula which is dependent on ones quality score. The quality score is dependent on various factors including the click through rate – the ad copy – the overall history – the most recent history and many more factors. The higher the quality score – the less you have to pay to maintain your high position.

PPC and SEM - 27 Top Headlines Of All Time

PPC and SEM – 27 Top Headlines Of All Time

Here Are Our 27 Most Effective Headline Words of All Time for PPC & SEO

When were you last in a book store? Last time you purchased a book on Amazon?
Chances are pretty good that you picked up a book up after reading the title, and then turned the book over and read the back. After deciding the book looked interesting, you decided to purchase it. You pulled out your wallet and spent $8-$18 because of a catchy headline + some good text on the back of the book. You became a “conversion.”
That my friends is the simplicity of conversion. Very simple – catch them with a headline, sell them with the copy.
The same goes for Google or Bing/Yahoo Pay Per Click campaigns.
Search Engine Marketing is an art in itself. A simple change in headline can increase conversions by hundreds of percent.
Headlines need to convert people’s interest. The only purpose of a headline is to make the reader read your first sentence.
It then takes a good first sentence to make the reader read the second sentence & the third, etc. Getting people to your website is easy, getting them to become a sale, is not.
Try as often as you can to incorporate one of your key benefits into your headline. For example, someone advertising marketing could say:
“Facts You Should Know About How To Triple Revenue in One Year.”
See? You’re taking the benefit, which is, “Triples Revenue in One Year,” and turned it into a catchy headline.
Interesting fact I heard:
Words in quotation marks are read & retained 80% more often
Most copywriters make the mistake of writing the copy first, and then the headline. This is wrong Never do that. Always write a killer headline first, and then write your killer copy.

Emotions Are Vital in PPC & Search Engine Marketing

Emotions are vitally important and can often make a tremendous difference in your Click Through Rates.
Here’s a story as an example: A friend of mine was marketing for a Veterinarian Chain – He had ads all over the place for “Free Flea Treatments” and got barely any response.
He surveyed the market and found that people were frustrated or upset about Fleas and Tics.
So he changes his ads to Something like:

“We Kill Them All – Fleas Fleas Fleas
And Tics Too – Bring Your Dog
or Cat in for a free treatment now”

As I said – find out the emotion of your clients – are they conservative, angry?
Base you ad off that emotion and try to match it as best you can.
Do you know of any other great tricks for Search Engine Marketing and PPC?
