2021 - 2021 Favorite Mix
Here’s our top 5 favorite albums this year – now these are the albums where almost every song on the album is awesome. My playlist has many songs where 1 or 2 songs are great but the rest are okay. That being said – these albums really deliver – thus they made our top 5.
Here’s my top 10 Favorite Albums and Artists this year – I must say that my taste has been swayed by my 9 year old daughter. But of all our albums this year these were by far the best …
1. Daya – 2021 “New” Single
+ 2021/2021 Sit Still Look Pretty
She is young – but has the most unique voice I have ever heard and despite listening to her album about 50 times this year – it still sounds great.
2. Imagine Dragons
Evolve
This years album (Evolve) was awesome – it has been all over the airwaves – I’m including two of my favorite songs that you may have never heard – Poloroid and Hopeless Opus – Which are not on this album, almost every song on this Evolve album is great.
3. The Chainsmokers
Memories…Do Not Open
Another album where every song on it is awesome. Literally – I don’t think there is one song I dislike – however it does have some explicit lyrics so I had to be careful playing certain songs around the kids or in the office.
4. Maroon 5 –
Red Pill Blues
Never thought I’d recommend a Maroon 5 Album – but this one is really good. It has a Reggae sound to it – a couple of the songs are really good.
5. Ed Sheeran
Divide
It seems like Ed Sheeran is on every station I listen to – every other song – and for a good reason. Almost all of his songs are good. Although some of his recent songs are a little over-played – you can’t deny his albums are great.
Bonus Single … Bleachers
Song: “Don’t Take The Money“
I haven’t listened to the album – but I love this song – it has that “Breakfast Club” vibe to it. Brings back memories … P.S. the MTV acoustic version is good too!
