A friend of mine – who lives in a house near us – is creating a Cafe’ and Sandwich Shop near where I live. I admired the way he went about getting his idea off the ground…
Besides being a great guy – He did some things right:

Startups & Entrepreneurship – How To Do It Right

0. He brought his dream down to earth and made it into exact doable steps.
1. He carefully planned his dream financially and locally and worked out how to do it right.
2. He found the exact amount it would cost.
3. He ACTED on his plan. 
4. He used a combined marketing strategy.
5. He surveyed friends and family and found out what their concerns were (GMO and pesticides for kids).
6. He used the buttons and made a great little (semi-viral) video to kick it off.
7. He asked for help…

Conclusion

I think any plan – no matter how roughly executed is better than no plan.
